I have always loved clogs because I grew up as a hippie child in Greenwich Village, and they were all around me. You apparently have a style addiction to your earliest fashion memory. So, yes, my closet is a combination new stuff, older stuff and the dawning of the age of Aquarius. Every time I see a clog or that Doctor Scholl look, I go bananas and collect. “It’s a terrible tragedy,” his costar Glenn Close told UsMagazine.com on the Emmys red carpet. “It’s going to take a long time for him to readjust to being without her.”

Short, now 60, met Dolman during the 1972 Toronto production of the musical Godspell. They wed in 1980 and went on to have three children together: Katherine, 26; Oliver, 24; and Henry, 21.

Couture week closed out in a blaze of multicolored carats that had editors scurrying from the Place Vendôme to Avenue Montaigne and back again. Not only does the new haute joaillerie day extend the ever-shrinking week by a day, it provided the big houses with a forum to preview their lavish creations for the 25th Biennale des Antiquaires, opening in Paris mid-September. This season, flora and fauna ran rampant.

Chanel dove into its archives and surfaced with a feather theme, anchored by the articulated brooch Diane Kruger wore in her hair at Cannes (pictured); it’s an exact replica of one created by Mlle. Chanel in 1932. An articulated cuff of pavé diamond feathers was trimmed in black diamonds and set with a hidden closure. The feathery wisps were echoed elsewhere, too, as with the Comet necklace, which drapes diamonds around the nape of the neck.

Boucheron took the feather theme literally for one of its unique suites, called Pretty Puff, in which multicolored diamonds were sprinkled over a puffball of white swan feathers. And since versatility is a coveted attribute in haute jewelry (necklace, with or without heavily jeweled brooch, for example), the house pushed the concept to the extreme with the Curlicue five-in-one concept that by turns could be a necklace, two bracelets, a diamond hair clip, or a brooch.

At Dior, a panorama of jewels spanned the classically beautiful—significant Les Précieuses engagement rings and the new Rose Dior Bagatelle rings covered with rubies or pink sapphires—to the more far-out, with one-of-a-kind items from Victoire de Castellane’s wild Coffret de Victoire. One cuff sets a pink tourmaline rabbit in a garden of fire-opal pumpkins; on another, a burnished silver monkey can be lifted from his bejeweled perch. Bollywood earrings, twined with serpents, hang over the ear, as they’re worn in India.

Van Cleef & Arpels drew inspiration from Jules Verne for its Les Voyages Extraordinaires collection, shown at a presentation staged by Argentinean theater director Alfredo Arias. The travels spanned oceans and terra firma. Over here, diamond-encrusted polar bears and penguins swanned on hefty tourmaline glaciers; there, an elephant head paved in gray and white diamonds, dangling a 41-carat topaz, stood in for the African leg of the jaunt. Several pieces were customizable: A whale brooch could spout a jet of diamonds, thanks to integrated springs—now you see it, now you don’t. And if, after all the creatures, you didn’t care for the menagerie, well, there were always the classical constellations—Calliope and Andromeda, re-created to scale.

Bachelorette’s Jesse Csincsak Marries Pregnant -

In 2008,BBC, Csincsak won the fourth season of The Bachelorette, capturing the heart of DeAnna Pappas (Lueders appeared on Jason Mesnick’s season of The Bachelor).

Pappas recently announced in Us Weekly that she is engaged to high school teacher Stephen Stagliano.

Csincsak, a pro snowboarder, and Lueders, a former flight attendant, met last year on a cruise for former Bachelor and Bachelorette contestants.

Csincsak and Pappas, 28, called it quits a few months after the show’s finale.

In a video interview on RadarOnline, Csincsak proposed to Lueders with a $22,000 custom-made, 2-carat princess cut engagement ring designed by Rob Levit of northeastern Ohio-based Levit Jewelers Inc.

The two — who are both 28 — plan on throwing a poolside bash Sunday at Las Vegas resort Rumor. Around 20 former Bachelor stars are expected, including newlyweds Jason and Molly Mesnick, Jesse Kovacs and Vienna Girardi.

This past spring, Lueders, 28, learned she was expecting. (They recently announced they’ll be having a boy; they’re naming him Noah.)

It was inevitable that this style shoe would make it on to the Recessionista blog. They’re hot and off the hook. Sooooo comfortable, why wear or entertain in high heels anymore? Uber icon Kate Moss has worn her version and there is an obvious nod to the King of All that is, Michael Jackson.

The Weather (And Fashion) Report From Copenhagen

When Helena Christensen says go, you go—even, as it turns out, if it happens to be pouring rain. That’s how it went at the so-called “World’s Greatest Catwalk” that closed out Copenhagen fashion week on Saturday. Organizers laid down literally a mile of pink carpet in the city center, and Helena Christensen issued the sendoff to the more than 200 catwalkers, from infants (cradled in mom’s arms) to Denmark’s leading elderly model, all of whom hoofed it through town in looks put together by local merchants.

Rain, as it turned out, was one of the week’s overriding themes. A storm raged during Stine Goya’s show, where models glided through rooms decorated with Victorian-style installations of antique furniture and massive floral arrangements. At Wood Wood (above), the designers actually hosed down their models before sending them into the spotlight at the Den Frie contemporary art museum; with army jackets, shirtdresses, and khakis clinging to their bodies underneath backpacks, they looked like kids caught in a thunderstorm on the way home from school. On the other hand, mother nature luckily held the rain from Henrik Vibskov’s outdoor show at a park known locally as a hook-up spot (despite the swim goggles Vibskov accessorized his looks with, and the two enormous wood boats that burly men pushed into the center of the catwalk for the finale).

But rain or no rain, Copenhagen is about fun more than overly serious, capital-F fashion. Although one of the country’s most established names in womenswear, Margit Bradt (below), showed a strong collection playing on a safari theme (one picked up by several other designers as well), Soulland designer Silas Adler freely admitted that much of the best Danish style is “too basic to put on a catwalk” in Milan or Paris. (Though Adler, whose label grew out of a modest T-shirt project he started with skater friends, did throw some suits into the mix for the first time, below.) The real action in Denmark is at street-level, without the pomp and circumstance that can attend other European fashion weeks. Take Soulland’s after-party, which went down, sans formal invites, at a dive bar called Andy’s—one that the owner had to be roused from a stupor to open that night.
